Deborah Rydell Hansen was born in Los Angeles, California and studied art at California State University Northridge receiving her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Textile Design. Over the last two decades she has worked professionally as an artist, successfully marketing her own line of greeting cards and exhibiting watercolor paintings at local events.

Eight years ago, Deborah’s passion for art and textile design led her to develop a unique line of handpainted glassware. By applying a watercolor technique mixing multiple colors of paint directly on the brush, a beautiful blended effect is created on the glass. The response has been very positive and the number of people collecting her work continues to grow.

 In addition to selling her work through private showings, Deborah’s work was featured for four years at the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Museum Shop in Washington, DC. Her love of texture, color and pattern are vividly expressed in all of her translucent designs.
